SAFETY

• By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

the damage.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord

and make sure the cord cannot become

entangled.

• The appliance must be placed on a stable,

level surface.

unattended while it is connected to the supply.

• This appliance is only to be used for

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance andaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protective foilorplasticfrom thedevice.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10

cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• We advise to place a heat resistant coating between your table and

the appliance (this way you don't get burn marks on your table or table

cloth).

• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will

occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This smell is only

temporary and will soon fade.

USE

• To switch on the appliance, insert the mains plug into the wall socket.

• Place a collecting tray below the grease outlet. During the grilling the

excess fat from the grill plates runs to the grease outlet. Set the

thermostat to the desired temperature.

• Plug in the socket, the red and green indication light will light up. Leave

the device closed without any content to preheat. When the green

indication light will go off you will be able to start grilling.

• Now place the prepared ingredients on the bottom grill plate and close

the grill by pressing the handle downwards. The upper plate tilts in order

to provide even pressure. Normal preparation time is 5-8 minutes; the

exact time depends on the dish, the set temperature and your personal

taste. Because the device is closed the baking process is faster.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool both

halves open.

• Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or soft brush.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive

cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.

• Never immerse the electrical appliance in water or any other liquid. The

appliance is not dishwasher proof.

ENVIRONMENT

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

appliance, instruction manual and packaging puts your attention to this

important issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By

recycling of used domestic appliances you contribute an important push to

the protection of our environment. Ask your local authorities for information

VOORAFGAAND AAN HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos.Verwijder de stickers,

de beschermfolie of het plastic van het apparaat.

• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond. Zorg voor

minimaal 10 cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet

geschikt voor inbouw of gebruik buitenshuis.

• Het wordt aanbevolen om een hittebestendige laag tussen de tafel en

het apparaat te leggen (zo voorkomt u brandplekken op de tafel of in het

tafelkleed).

• Als het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt aangezet, ontstaat een lichte

geur. Dit is normaal, zorg voor voldoende ventilatie. Deze geur is maar

tijdelijk en zal spoedig vervliegen.

GEBRUIK

• Plaats de netstekker in het stopcontact om het apparaat in te schakelen.

• Plaats een opvangbak onder de vetuitloop. Tijdens het grillen loopt het

overtollige vet van de grillplaten naar de vetuitloop. Stel de thermostaat

in op de gewenste temperatuur.

• Plaats de stekker in het stopcontact. Het rode en groene indicatielampje

gaan branden. Laat het apparaat zonder inhoud gesloten opwarmen. U

kunt beginnen met grillen wanneer het groene indicatielampje uitgaat.

• Plaats nu de te bereiden ingrediënten op de onderste grillplaat en sluit

de grill door de hendel naar beneden te drukken. De bovenste plaat

kantelt, zodat de druk gelijkmatig wordt verdeeld. De normale

bereidingstijd is 5-8 minuten. De exacte tijd is afhankelijk van het

gerecht, de ingestelde temperatuur en uw persoonlijke smaak. Doordat

het apparaat gesloten is, gaat het bakproces sneller.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat afkoelen

met beide helften open.

• Reinig de bakplaten met een vochtige doek of een zachte borstel.

• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve en

schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, schuursponsjes of staalwol, die het

apparaat beschadigen.

• Dompel het elektrische apparaat nooit onder in water of andere

vloeistoffen. Het apparaat is niet vaatwasserbestendig.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het

apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het

recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke

bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

• Sortez l'appareil et les accessoires hors de la boîte.Retirez les

autocollants, le film protecteur ou le plastique de l'appareil.

• Mettez l'appareil sur une surface stable plate et assurez un dégagement

tout autour de l'appareil d'au moins 10 cm. Cet appareil ne convient pas

à une installation dans une armoire ou à un usage à l'extérieur.

• Nous vous conseillons de placer un revêtement résistant à la chaleur

entre votre table et l'appareil (de cette façon vous n'aurez pas de traces

de brûlures sur votre table ou votre nappe).

• Lorsque l'appareil est allumé pour la première fois, une légère odeur se

dégage. Ceci est normal et gage d'une ventilation adéquate. Cette odeur

est temporaire et disparaîtra vite.

UTILISATION

• Pour mettre l'appareil en marche, insérez la fiche secteur dans la prise

murale.

• Placez un bac de récupération sous la sortie de graisse. Durant le grill,

l'excès de graisse des plaques de grill s'écoule par la sortie de graisse.

Réglez le thermostat à votre convenance.

• Branchez la fiche et les témoins rouge et vert s'allument. Laissez

l'appareil fermé sans contenu pour le préchauffage. Lorsque le témoin

vert s'éteint, vous pouvez commencer à griller.

• Placez maintenant les ingrédients préparés sur la plaque de grill

inférieure et fermez le grill en appuyant sur la poignée vers le bas. La

plaque supérieure s’incline pour uniformiser la pression. La durée

normale de préparation est de 5 à 8minutes; la durée exacte dépend du

plat, de la température réglée et de votre goût personnel. L'appareil étant

fermé, le processus de cuisson est plus rapide.

NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE

• Débranchez la fiche du secteur et laissez l’appareil refroidir ouvert.

• Nettoyez les plaques de cuisson avec un chiffon humide ou une brosse

douce.

• Nettoyez l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon humide. N'utilisez jamais de

nettoyant abrasif ni de tampon à récurer ou de laine d'acier, ce qui

pourrait endommager l'appareil.

• N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

L'appareil n'est pas prévu pour un lavage au lave-vaisselle.

ENVIRONNEMENT

Cet appareil ne doit pas être jeté avec les déchets ménagers à la

fin de sa durée de vie, il doit être remis à un centre de recyclage pour les
