SAFETY

• By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

the damage.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance andaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protective foilorplasticfrom thedevice.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10

cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• Before the first use boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and

discard this water.

• Connect the power cable to the socket. (Note: Make sure the indicated

voltage on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the

device. Voltage 220V-240V 50-60Hz.

USE

Thermal safety cut-out

• The pre-set thermal safety cut-out protects the heating element from

overheating should the appliance be erroneously switched on without

any water, or if the heating plate is calcified. If the safety cut-out is

activated, the appliance cannot be switched on again. In such a case,

the appliance must be allowed to cool down or must be descaled

before it is switched on again.

Temperature selection

• The temperature can be selected using the temperature button on the

control panel.

• The current water temperature (≥18°C) is shown on the display.

• Pressing the temperature button repeatedly increases the temperature

selection in 5-degrees steps.

• If the current temperature inside the container exceeds the temperature

selected, the appliance cannot be started. In this case, a sequence of

three beep signals is sound.

• Temperatures below 40°C cannot be selected.

Automatic switch-off

• Unless the keep-warm function has been selected, the display will switch

off automatically around 3 minutes after the last operation.

• In the keep-warm mode, the kettle switches off after around 30 minutes.

• Fill the jug with the required quantity of water (minimum 250ml,

maximum 1.7L).

• Use the cup indicator on the main body to determine the amount of water

you need.

• 1 cup is 250ml.

Operation

• Close the lid and place the container on the base.

• Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.

• A beep signal is heard and the display shows C, followed by the current

water temperature inside the container. The appliance is now in standby

mode.

• Use the temperature button to set the desired temperature.

• Confirm by pressing the on/off button. The water level indicator lights up

blue. The display shows the selected temperature, followed by the

current temperature.

• The heating process begins. Once the pre-set temperature has been

reached, the heating system automatically switches off; three short

beeps signals sound and the indicator light on the water container goes

out.

• The boiling process can be interrupted by pressing the on/off button. The

appliance is now in standby mode.

• To pour hot water, remove the container from its base.

• To prevent hot steam from being emitted, ensure that the lid remains

closed while pouring water.

Quick-boil function

• When placing the water container onto the base and by pressing the on/

off button, the water is heated to 100°C without the need to set a

temperature.

Keep-warm function

• The kettle comes with a keep-warm function.

• To activate this function, first press the keep warm function button.

• Use the temperature button to select a temperature between 40° and

95°.

• Press the on/off button to confirm.

• The water level indicator lights up red.

• The heating process begins. Once the pre-set temperature is reached,

the heating system is automatically switched off; the short beep signals

sound.

• The water is kept warm for about 30 minutes; the water level indicator

stays red.

• This function is automatically cancelled once the container is removed

from the base.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool

down.

• Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive

cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

• Never immerse the kettle and base in water or any other liquids.

• The device should be regularly decalcified. Use a descaling product

which is suitable for household appliances.

• Rinse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling.

Detachable filter

• If necessary, the filter can be removed from the spout for cleaning. To

remove, first loosen the filter at the bottom, and then at the top edge.

• Re-insert the filter afterwards – hook it onto the inside of the upper rim

first, then push the lower part into place.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

VEILIGHEID

• Als u de veiligheidsinstructies negeert, kan de

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos.Verwijder de stickers,

de beschermfolie of het plastic van het apparaat.

• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond. Zorg voor

minimaal 10 cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet

geschikt voor inbouw of gebruik buitenshuis.

• Kook voor het eerste gebruik eerst een volle kan water om de kan te

reinigen. Gooi dit water weg.

• Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact. (Opmerking: controleer of

het voltage op het apparaat overeenkomt met de plaatselijke

netspanning voordat u het apparaat aansluit. Voltage 220V-240V

50-60Hz).

GEBRUIK

Uitsparing voor temperatuurbeveiliging

• De geïntegreerde uitsparing voor temperatuurbeveiliging beschermt het

verwarmingselement tegen oververhitting wanneer het apparaat per

ongeluk wordt ingeschakeld zonder water, of als de verwarmingsplaat

verkalkt is. Als de uitsparing voor beveiliging wordt geactiveerd, kan het

apparaat niet meer worden ingeschakeld. In dat geval moet u het

apparaat laten afkoelen of ontkalken voordat u het weer inschakelt.

Temperatuurselectie

• De temperatuur kan worden geselecteerd met de temperatuurknop op

het bedieningspaneel

• De huidige watertemperatuur (≥18°C) wordt op het display weergegeven.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de temperatuurknop om de temperatuurselectie in

stappen van 5graden te verhogen.

• Als de huidige temperatuur in het reservoir hoger is dan de

geselecteerde temperatuur, wordt het apparaat niet geactiveerd. In dat

geval klinkt er een reeks van drie piepsignalen.

• U kunt geen temperatuur onder de 40°C selecteren.

Automatisch uitschakelen

• Het display wordt 3minuten na de laatste actie automatisch

uitgeschakeld, tenzij de warmhoudfunctie is geselecteerd.

• In de warmhoudmodus wordt de waterkoker na ongeveer 30minuten

uitgeschakeld.

• Vul de kan met de vereiste hoeveelheid water (minimaal 250ml,

maximaal 1,7l)

• Gebruik de kopjesindicator op het hoofddeel om te bepalen hoeveel

water u nodig hebt.

• 1kopje is 250ml.

Bediening

• Sluit het deksel en plaats het reservoir op de basis.

• Steek de stekker in een geschikt stopcontact.

• Er klinkt een piepsignaal en op het display wordt Cweergegeven,

gevolgd door de huidige watertemperatuur in het reservoir. Het apparaat

staat nu in de stand-bymodus.

• Gebruik de temperatuurknop om de gewenste temperatuur in te stellen.

• Bevestig uw keuze door op deaan/uit-knopte drukken. De indicator voor

het waterniveau licht blauw op. Op het display wordt de geselecteerde

temperatuur weergegeven, gevolgd door de huidige temperatuur.

• Het opwarmproces wordt gestart. Zodra de vooraf ingestelde

temperatuur is bereikt, wordt het opwarmsysteem automatisch

uitgeschakeld. Er klinken drie korte piepsignalen en het indicatorlampje

op het waterreservoir gaat uit.

• Het kookproces kan worden onderbroken door op deaan/uit-knopte

drukken. Het apparaat staat nu in de stand-bymodus.

• Als u heet water wilt schenken, verwijdert u het reservoir van de basis.

• Zorg ervoor dat het deksel gesloten blijft tijdens het schenken van water

om te voorkomen dat er hete stoom ontsnapt.

Snelkookfunctie

• Als u het waterreservoir op de basis plaatst en op deaan/uit-knopdrukt,

wordt het water verwarmd tot 100°C zonder dat u een temperatuur hoeft

in te stellen.

Warmhoudfunctie

• De waterkoker is voorzien van een warmhoudfunctie.

• Als u deze functie wilt activeren, drukt u eerst op deknop voor de

warmhoudfunctie.

• Gebruik de temperatuurknop om een temperatuur tussen 40°C en 95°C

te selecteren.

• Druk op de aan/uit-knop om uw keuze te bevestigen.

• De indicator voor het waterniveau licht rood op.

• Het opwarmproces wordt gestart. Zodra de vooraf ingestelde

temperatuur is bereikt, wordt het opwarmsysteem automatisch

uitgeschakeld. Er klinken korte piepsignalen.

• Het water wordt ongeveer 30minuten warm gehouden.

• Deze functie wordt automatisch geannuleerd zodra het reservoir van de

basis wordt verwijderd.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Verwijder voor reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot het

apparaat is afgekoeld.

• Gebruik een zachte vochtige doek om de behuizing van het apparaat te

reinigen.

• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve of

schurende reinigingsmiddelen, schuursponzen of staalwol; dit beschadigt

het apparaat.

• Dompel de waterkoker en de basis nooit onder in water of andere

vloeistoffen.

• Het apparaat moet regelmatig worden ontkalkt. Gebruik een

ontkalkingsmiddel dat geschikt is voor huishoudelijke apparaten.

• Spoel na het ontkalken de waterkoker een aantal keer met schoon water.

Verwijderbaar filter

• Het filter kan eventueel van de tuit worden verwijderd om het te reinigen.

Als u het wilt verwijderen, maakt u het filter eerst aan de onderkant los

en vervolgens bij de bovenrand.

• Plaats het filter daarna weer terug. Haak het eerst in de bovenste rand

en duw vervolgens het onderste deel op zijn plek.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het

apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het

recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke

bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale

overheid naar het inzamelpunt.

SÉCURITÉ

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

• Sortez l'appareil et les accessoires hors de la boîte.Retirez les

autocollants, le film protecteur ou le plastique de l'appareil.

• Mettez l'appareil sur une surface stable plate et assurez un dégagement

tout autour de l'appareil d'au moins 10 cm. Cet appareil ne convient pas

à une installation dans une armoire ou à un usage à l'extérieur.

• Faites bouillir une bouilloire d’eau avant la première utilisation pour

nettoyer la bouilloire et jetez cette eau.

• Mettez le câble d'alimentation dans la prise. (Remarque : Assurez-vous

que la tension indiquée sur l'appareil correspond à la tension locale

avant de brancher l'appareil. Voltage : 220 V-240 V 50-60 Hz).

UTILISATION

Disjoncteur thermique de sécurité

• Le disjoncteur thermique de sécurité préréglé protège l'élément chauffant

contre la surchauffe si l'appareil est mis en marche par erreur sans eau,

ou si la plaque chauffante est calcifiée. Si le disjoncteur de sécurité est

activé, l'appareil ne peut plus être mis en marche. Dans ce cas, il faut

laisser l'appareil refroidir ou le détartrer avant de le remettre en marche.

Sélection de température

• La température peut être sélectionnéeà l'aide du bouton de température

sur le panneau de commande.

• La température du moment de l'eau (≥18°C) est indiquée sur l'écran.

• En appuyant sur le bouton de température à plusieurs reprises, la

température est sélectionnée par étapes de 5 degrés.

• Si la température réelle à l'intérieur du récipient dépasse la température

sélectionnée, l'appareil ne peut pas être mis en marche. Dans ce cas, on

entend une série de trois signaux sonores.

• Il est impossible de sélectionner des températures inférieures à 40 °C.

Arrêt automatique

• Si la fonction de maintien au chaud n'a pas été sélectionnée, l'écran

s'éteint automatiquement environ 3 minutes après la dernière opération.

• En mode de maintien au chaud, la bouilloire s'éteint après environ 30

minutes.

• Remplissez le pichet avec la quantité d'eau requise (minimum 250ml,

maximum 1,7L).

• Utilisez l'indicateur de tasse sur le corps principal pour déterminer la

quantité d'eau dont vous avez besoin.

• 1 tasse correspond à 250ml.

Utilisation

• Fermez le couvercle et placez le récipient sur la base.

• Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise murale adaptée.

• Un signal sonore se fait entendre et l'écran affiche C, suivi de la

température réelle de l'eau à l'intérieur du récipient. L'appareil est

maintenant en mode veille.

• Utilisez le bouton de température pour régler la température souhaitée.

• Confirmez en appuyant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt. L'indicateur du

réservoir d'eau s'allume en bleu. L'écran affiche la température

sélectionnée, suivie de la température en cours.

• Le processus de chauffage commence. Une fois la température

préréglée atteinte, le système de chauffage s'éteint automatiquement;

trois courts bips sonores retentissent et le témoin lumineux du réservoir

d'eau s'éteint.

• Le processus d'ébullition peut être interrompu en appuyant sur le bouton

Marche/Arrêt. L'appareil est maintenant en mode veille.

• Pour verser l'eau chaude, retirez le récipient de sa base.

• Pour éviter l'émission de vapeur chaude, veillez à ce que le couvercle

reste fermé pendant que vous versez l'eau.

Fonction d'ébullition rapide

• En plaçant le récipient d'eau sur la base et en appuyant sur le bouton

Marche/Arrêt, l'eau est chauffée à 100 °C sans qu'il soit nécessaire de

régler la température.
