INTENDED USE

This product is intended as a personal scale. The scale has a weighting range

of 2 kg up to 150 kg. Any other use may result in damage to product or

injuries.

Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property

damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the

product, or usage of the product which does not meet the manufacturer’s

specified purpose.

Note: The measured values displayed on the scale are for reference only.

For accurate measured values, please consult your physician or a qualified

consultant or medical personnel.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging.

Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the

delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet

immediately. Remove the battery protection before first use.

INSERT OR REPLACE BATTERIES

Open the battery compartment. Insert 1 x 3 V battery (type CR2032)

in the battery compartment by first pressing the edge of the battery

against the metal contact on the side

and then pressing the

battery into the battery compartment

. Make sure the polarity is

correct as indicated. Close the battery compartment.

Note:

The scale has a battery low indicator. If the battery is low, the display

will show Lo. Replace the exhausted battery with a new battery of the

same type.

When the scale is on, press the UNIT button to switch the unit kg/lb/

st:lb.

Always place the scales down on a solid, flat and horizontal surface.

Step on the platform and the scale will turn on. Immediately step

down and the display will show 0.0 kg. If the scale is on or o, step

onto the platform and the scale starts to measure. The weight will be

displayed. Do not move, moving will lead to discrepancies.

Note: The scale switches o automatically and turns on when

stepped on.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Warning! Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during

cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.

• Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard

brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and

can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may

scratch the surface(s).

• Clean the product’s exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then

dry them thoroughly.

• Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through

the display).

• Keep the product in a dry, cool location which is protected against moisture

and direct sunlight. Keep this product out of the reach of children.

DISPOSAL

Do not dispose of this product as municipal waste. Return it to a

designated collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic

not put batteries into the household waste. Please use the return and

collection systems in your community or contact the dealer where you

purchased the product.

•This product can be used by children aged

concerning use of the product in a safe way

•Children shall not play with the product.

•Place this product on a horizontal and even

surface only.

•Do not place the product on moist or wet

surfaces, as there is a danger that the scale

will slide away or slip when you stand on it.

•Caution! Be careful not to damage the glass

surface. Do not use this product if the glass

surface is damaged or if the glass surface is

cracked or if the glass is cracked.

•Do not stand on the scales with wet or damp

feet. Do not stand on the scales if you are wet

or not dried o (e.g. after a shower). There is a

danger that you may slip and injure yourself.

•Danger of injury! Do not stand too close to

the edges of the scale as this could cause the

product to tip over.

•Danger of injury! Do not jump on or o the

product as the glass may shatter.

•Remove the batteries from the product before

disposal.

•Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning

and care.

• This product is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for

household use only.

• Read this user guide carefully before first use. It contains important safety

information as well as instructions for the use and care of the device. Save

the guide for later reference and include it with the device when transferring

it to a third party.

• To avoid dangerous situations, do not use the product for any purpose other

than those described in the instructions. Improper use is dangerous and

voids the warranty.

• Risk of injury! Do not use this product if it is damaged or has fallen on the

floor.

Battery warnings

• Caution! There is danger of explosion from improper replacement of the

battery. Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type of

battery.

• Make sure the battery is correctly inserted. Observe the polarity (+) plus /

(-) negative on the battery and the housing. An improperly inserted battery

can lead to leakage or, in extreme cases, a fire or an explosion.

• Never expose batteries to excessive heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never

throw them into fire. The batteries could explode.

• The connections must not be short-circuited.

• Remove used batteries. Remove the batteries if you know that the product

will not be used for a longer period of time. Otherwise, the batteries could

leak and cause damage.

• Keep batteries out of reach of small children. If batteries have been

swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.

• If the batteries leak, remove them with a cloth and dispose of them

accordingly. Prevent battery liquid from coming into contact with skin and

eyes. If you do get battery liquid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with

lots of water and consult a physician immediately. If battery liquid comes

into contact with your skin, wash the aected area with lots of water and

soap.

Warning!

• Do not swallow the battery due to risk of chemical burn.

• This product contains a coin cell battery. If the coin cell battery is swallowed,

it can cause severe internal burns within 2 hours and lead to death.

• Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children.

• Do not use the product if the battery compartment cannot be closed

securely and keep it out of reach of children.

• If you think that batteries have been swallowed or are in a part of the body,

seek medical help immediately.

• Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.

• Do not short-circuit batteries. Do not over-discharge the battery.

• Remove used batteries from the device immediately and dispose of them

properly and in accordance with legal regulations.

• Do not heat batteries. Do not weld or solder directly to batteries. Do not

disassemble batteries. Do not deform batteries.

• A lithium battery with a damaged case should not come into contact with

water.

• Do not encapsulate and / or modify batteries.

Swallowing can lead to chemical

burns, perforation of soft tissue,

and death. Severe burns can occur

within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek

medical attention immediately.

Advertencias sobre pilas

• Nunca exponga las baterías a excesivo calor (por ejemplo, sol o fuego), y

nunca las tire al fuego. Las baterías podrían explotar.

• No se deben cortocircuitar las conexiones.

• Saque las baterías usadas. Retire las pilas si sabe que no utilizará el

producto durante un largo periodo de tiempo. De lo contrario, las pilas

pueden tener fugas y provocar daños.

• Mantenga las baterías fuera del alcance de los niños. Si se tragan las

baterías, acuda a un médico inmediatamente.

• No se deben recargar baterías no recargables.

• Si las baterías tienen fugas, retírelas con un trapo y deséchelas de la manera

apropiada. Evite que el líquido de las pilas entre en contacto con la piel y los

ojos. Si el líquido de las pilas le entra en los ojos, enjuáguese bien con agua

jabón.

• Este producto contiene una pila de botón. Si se traga la batería de botón,

puede provocar quemaduras internas graves en menos de 2 horas y puede

provocar la muerte.

• Mantenga las baterías nuevas y usadas fuera del alcance de los niños.

• No use el producto si el compartimiento de batería no puede cerrarse con

seguridad y manténgalo fuera del alcance de los niños.

• Si sospecha de que se han tragado baterías o que han entrado en alguna

parte del cuerpo, busque inmediatamente ayuda médica.

• No deje que los niños cambien las baterías sin supervisión.

• No cortocircuite las baterías. No descargue en exceso la batería,

• Retire las baterías gastadas de inmediato del dispositivo y deséchelas

adecuadamente y de conformidad con las regulaciones locales.

• No caliente las baterías. No suelde directamente a las baterías. No

desensamble las pilas. No deforme baterías.

• Una batería de litio con la carcasa dañada no debe entrar en contacto con

agua.

• No encapsule ni / o modifique baterías.
