I. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
1.The installation must be carried out by qualified
personnel,inaccordancewithcurrentregulations,according
tothemanufacturer’sinstructions.
2.Keepventilation openings, inthe appliance enclosure orin
thebuilt-instructure,clearofobstruction.
1. UNPACKING
WARNING
Children should not be allowed inreach of the packaging
elements(plasticbagsandexpandedpolystyrene)astheyare
potentialsourcesofdanger.
CAUTION
Remove shipping carton, tape(s) and packing. If packing
materialisleftintheicemaker,itwillnotworkproperly.
2. LOCATION
IMPORTANT
1.Thisicemaker is not intendedfor outdoor use. Normal
operatingambienttemperatureshouldbewithin7°Cto40°C.
Normal operatingwater temperature should bewithin 7°C
to 35°C.Operation of the icemaker,for extendedperiods,
outsideof these normaltemperature ranges mayaffect
productioncapacity.
2.Theicemakershouldnotbelocatednexttoovens,grillsor
otherhighheatproducingequipment.
3.The location should provide a rm and level foundation for
theequipment.
4.Allow 15 cm clearance at rearandsides for proper air
circulationand ease of maintenance and/orservice should
theyberequired.
5.Thisapplianceisnotsuitableforinstallationinanareawhere
awaterjetcouldbeusedandwheredrippingisnotallowed.
6.Donotplaceanythingontopoftheicemaker or in front of
thelouver.
7.Thisicemakerwillnotworkatsubfreezingtemperatures.To
preventdamagetothewatersupplyline,draintheicemaker
whenairtemperatureisbelowzero(see“II.2.PREPARING
THEICEMAKERFORLONGSTORAGE”).
3. INSTALLATION
* Incorrectinstallationcan cause harmtopeople,animalsor things,
forwhichthemanufacturercannotbeheldresponsible.
* Placetheicemakerintheselectedpermanentsite.
* Theappliancemustbepositionedsothattheplugisaccessible.
4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
Thisicemakerrequiresan earth that meets the national
and local electrical code requirements. To preventpossible
severe electrical shockto individuals or extensive damage to
equipment,installaproperearthwiretotheicemaker.Remove
theplugfromthemainssocketbeforeanymaintenance,repairs
orcleaningisundertaken.
* Thisappliancerequiresaseparate220-240VAC,10Asupply.The
electricalsupplymustbeprotectedbyasuitablecircuitbreaker.
* The main control boxfuse is rated at 5A and should only be
replacedbyaqualiedserviceengineer.
* Usually an electrical permitand services of a licensed electrician
arerequired.

cordavailablefromHoshizakiParts/ServiceCentres.

* Ifthesupplycordandtheplugshouldneedtobereplaced,itshould

1)Afterremovingthe packaging, makesure thatthe icemaker is in
good condition. If in doubt, please do not use the equipment but
applytoprofessionallyqualiedpersonnel.
2)Removeshippingtapeholdingthedoorandseparator.
3)Removetheprotectiveplasticlmfromtheexterior.Iftheicemaker
isexposedtothesunortoheat,removethelmaftertheicemaker
cools.
4)Removethepackageofaccessories,andcheckthecontents:
