Note

In programming mode, only the [POWER], [VOL+], [MENU] and[0-9]

buttons work.

5.3 Code query

Youcan display the code currently used by theremotecontrol:

1. Press and hold the [MUTE] and [POWER] buttons simultaneously for

approx. 3sec. until the status LED lights up continuously.

2. Enter the numerical sequence [9] [9] [0] with thenumerical keys

(the LED flashes witheach entry). The status LED flashes twice and

goes out.

3. Press the button [1] for the first digit of the code. Thestatus LED

starts to flash.

Count the numberofindividual flashes of the status LED-this

number corresponds to the first digit of the currentdevice code.

Proceed accordingly for the 2nd and 3rddigits of thecode:

2nd digit -> enter 2->count flashing signals

3rd digit -> enter 3->count flashing signals

If one digit of the device codeisa0, the statusLED does not flash.

After the third digit has been displayed, the status LED goes out.

5.4 Overview of compatible remote controls

Due to the large number of different remote controls,wecan only

provide alimited number in the code list. If the button diagram and

housing shape of your original remote control match oneofthe models

shown, it is compatible (www.hama.com

00221065 Downloads).

6. Learning function

This remote control is equipped with alearning function.This allows

youtotransfer functions from your original remote control to this

remote control.

6.1 Before you start the learning function

• Make surethat allbatteries used in bothremotecontrols arein

perfect condition. Change them if necessary.

• Place your original remote control and the remote control next to

each other so that the infrared diodes of the remote controls are

directly opposite each other.

• If necessary,correct the height of both remote controls to achieve

optimal alignment.

• The distance betweenthe tworemote controls should be approx.

3cm.

Note

• Do not move the remote controls during the learning process.

• Make surethat the room lighting is not uorescent tubes or

energy-saving lamps, as these couldcause interferenceand thus

hinder the learning process.

• The distance between the tworemote controls and the nearest

light source should be at least 1metre.

• The learning process is terminated without saving if no buttonis

pressed or no signal is received for 15 sec. while learning mode

is activated.

• In learning mode, each button can only be assignedone function.

Anew function overwrites the function previously taughtonthis

button.

6.2Activating the learning mode

1. Press and hold the [MUTE] and [VOL+] buttons simultaneously for

approx. 3sec. untilthe status LED lightsupcontinuously.

2. Enter the code [9] [8] [0], the status LED flashes 2timesand then

lights up permanently.

3. The remote control is now in learning mode.

6.3 Transferring the button function

1. Press the button on the original remotecontrol whose function you

want to transfer. To confirm that the command has been received,

the status LED of the replacement remotecontrol flashes.

2. Now press the button on the replacement remotecontrol to which

the function is to be transferred.

3. The function LED of the replacement remotecontrol flashes 3times

for confirmation and then lights up permanently again. The new

function is now saved.

4. To transfer the functions of additional buttons, repeat these steps.

Press the [OK] button to save all taught-in functions and exit the

learning mode.

Note

When changingthe batteries of the remote control, thefunctions of

the taught-in buttons areretained.

6.4 Deleting taught functions

6.4.1 Deleting ataught function

1. Press and hold the [MUTE] and [VOL+] buttons simultaneously for

approx. 3sec. untilthe status LED lightsupcontinuously.
