1. Explanation of warning symbols and notes

Warning

This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to

draw your attention to specichazards and risks.

Note

This symbol is used to indicate additional information or

important notes.

2. Safety instructions

• Use the product only for the intended purpose.

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use

only.

• Keep the product out of the reach of small children.

Accidental swallowing can lead to suffocation. Seek

medical attention immediately if you suspect that the

product has been swallowed.

• Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.

• Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating

and use it in dry environments only.

• Do not use the product in adamp environment and

avoid splashing water.

• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of

heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any

major shocks.

• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.

Leave any and all service work to qualied experts.

• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it

becomes damaged.

• Dispose of packaging material immediately in

accordance with the locally applicable regulations.

• Do not modify the product in any way.Doing so voids

the warranty.

• As with all electrical products, this device should be kept

out of the reach of children.

Note

• Hama GmbH &CoKGisnot liable under any

circumstances for the loss of data stored on data

carriers.

• To avoid unintentional data loss, you should regularly

make backup copies on morethan one data carrier.

• If you use the product for avery long time, it may no

longer be possible to read, write or delete data.

To do this, see the instructions in your device's operating

manual.

Note -Android

• On Android devices, you can access the memory via a

le manager app. If such an app is not yet installed on

your end device, download acorresponding app via a

download portal for Android apps.

• If your end device is host/OTG-capable, has the

necessary softwareversion and still does not recognise

the Hama FlashPen, you may have to download and

install an additional plug-in app via adownload portal

for Android apps.

Warning

• The Hama USB memory devices must never be

disconnected from the computer or notebook while

data is still being transferred!Aloss of data could then

not be ruled out.

• Never use the USB type Aand the micro-USB type B

plug at the same time.

3. Disconnection

Carry out the disconnection procedurespecied by your

operating system.

If this procedureisnot observed, data loss cannot be

excluded!

Android 4.0 or newer versions
